Gartien, New shop launching and new packaging design! (Mid Autumn Edition)

The grand opening of Gartien was officiated by YB Dr. Afif bin Bahardin, Pengerusi Pertanian & Industri Asas Tani, Pembangunan Luar Bandar dan Kesihatan, witnessed by Joseph Tan, Gartien’s Pastry Chef, YB Teh Lai Heng, State Assemblyman of KOMTAR, Tuan Haji Ahmad, Pengarah Pertanian Pulau Pinang, Dato Dr. Kenny Ong, Group Executive Chairman of MTT Group of Companies and Mr. Lee See Hai, main supplier/partner on 20 July 2014.

The new Gartien shop address is 380, Jalan Penang, 10000 Penang, Malaysia. (next to Kek Seng Coffee Shop/格成茶室). It was very near to the komtar actually. If you had parked inside komtar, you can easily walk to Gartien, i think it most probably will took you about 15 to 20 minutes of walking distance only. If you are driving from KOMTAR along Jalan Penang via Jalan Magazine, you would see the outlet just next to the famous Kek Seng Coffee Shop (格成茶室) on your left side.

Parking can be quite limited since it’s a main road. However Gartien had better arrangement with the car park management recently, its all just to ease their customer during their visit. (Free car park!), please refer to photo below:

Ok, well, lets back to the opening ceremony, so, we were cordially invited to this grand opening ceremony, it all started with lots of customers, friends and relatives of Gartien gathered inside the new shop waiting for the gracious moment.

Although the new shop hasn't put up the signboard yet, but its easy to recognize, at the side window, there is sticker of Gartien! There are lots of hanging edison lamp at the entrance, for me indeed its a beautifully designed! :)

Prior to the opening ceremony, there were a lots of excellence food provided during that day. Not to forget, there were mouth watering popiah, california rolls (freshly made on the spot) and so on, to my surprise, there were also red wine served! Good job to Gartien management!

The Grand opening kick start at around 12pm with a little speech from the Gartien beautiful speaker, then we enjoyed the lion dance with some photography session.

The ceremony was then continued with the lauching of the new packing Gartien pineapple cake meant for mid autumn festival.

For those who not sure about Gartien pineapple cake, please let me to explain:
From the first day i tried the pineapple cake, i can feel that each piece of the pineapple cakes is filled with super fresh homegrown pineapples (pineapple estate is at Jawi). Secondly, Gartien assured that the pineapple cake were preservative and artificial colorings free. It took the pastry chef (Joseph) months of research and development (R&D) to come out with the perfect ratio for the recipe. Hence, Gartien pineapple cake is indeed a little piece of Penang!

– Booking order BEFORE 4 AUGUST 2014 for 5 boxes and above will be entitled to A BOX FREE.
– Booking order AFTER 4 AUGUST 2014 (upon availability) for 10 boxes and above will be entitled to A BOX FREE.

Note: Each box is fixed price throughout the year. The selling price per box with 10 pieces of pineapple cakes is RM45 (self collect only). A fix courier charge of RM10 & RM40 will be applicable to all deliveries within Peninsular Malaysia & East Malaysia respectively.

H-ARTISTRY 2014

So, as said, the widely anticipated, H-Artistry party for 2014 was successfully held at the Penang International Sports Arena (PISA), last 2 week ago.
It was so lucky for us, the blogger to get invited once again to join this kind of big event. The event indeed had drawn a lot of Penangites, crowd from other states, just to party up safely!Hailing from Taiwan, beautiful DJ from Australia, hottest bands from our country really did their job well, they leaded our night to the max, the crowd were all so high! we really enjoy the awesome event as much as you could had imagine!
Thus, i would like to share some photos of the night! (photos credited to the photographer who work while we are having the awesome night!) Thanks ya~

First and foremost, just look at the grandness, the crowd of the event!

The event started at 9pm sharp. The actual stage was reveled! We were invited to get into our zone.

First 2 DJ, who really know how to made the night, the party to began!

Then we had DJ Brooklyn who came all the way from AUSTRALIA! Our heart beat pumped as much as her music goes into our mind!

Then we had this group of trio (made in Malaysia) - Imma*Bleep*YouUp (IMBYU). Their music also not bad! They really know how to made party go'er getting higher and higher.

John from Paperplane Pursuit! He's the main singer in the group of trio (made in Malaysia) too!

Finally we had Magic Power, group from Taiwan! This multi-genre MandoPop band brings a fresh and new style of music through their fusion of rock, hip-hop and EDM beats.

The party went on to the max when the collaboration of Paperplane Pursuit & Magic Power happened. The song were awesome! According to the them, this was the first time for them!

We enjoyed the night and its our pleasure for being invited for such a big event of the year. Thanks to the organisers.

"This great part of this party was that it was done so responsibly that, after the event hours, there were booths outside of the entrance, where every party go'ers were given a bottles of mineral water to wash/ rinse their mouth. Besides, the event also collaborate with buses and taxi service, so that everybody can reached home safely! "

H-Artistry 2014 DEBUTS IN PENANG THIS MAY

Kuala Lumpur, 7 May 2014 – H-Artistry returns this year with the firstGlobal Art of Mixing partyslated for Penang, promising an elevated experience revolving around H-Artistry’s trademark epic super-clubbing experience. Widely anticipated, the first H-Artistry party planned for 2014 will give Penangites a reason to party up at the Penang International Sports Arena (PISA), this 17 May, from 7.00pm to 1.00am.

With its signature unique experience, the H-Artistry stage this year will see a line-up of exciting local, regional and international acts, treating party goers to a stellar mix of music styles and genres all through the night. H-ARTISTRY party in PENANG 25 May 2013 (PISA)

H-Artistry, The Global Art of Mixing 2013 had swept Penang island recently at 25th May evening with a truly spectacular party, where over 2,000 revelers partied on down at the most anticipated nightlife event of the year, in good company of H-Artistry trailblazers – the Hennessy V.S.O.P signature long drinks. It was still the most anticipated super-club experience which returns with a sensational mix of sight, sound and taste.

The H-Artistry series, which started back in 2008, has grown to become the very best of nightlife and entertainment combined, promising a blend of music styles by artists from around the world, an unmatched, super-club atmosphere, as well as delectable Hennessy V.S.O.P signature long drinks. H-Artistry 2013 in Penang was one installment that exceeded expectations, with an all-new setup, world-class production and a stellar line-up of artists from Hong Kong, Australia and Singapore.

We were so lucky to be invited for this yearly event, thanks to the invitation sent out by Criz Lai, our master of bloggers. The H-Artistry party was started off with party goers streaming into the venue from as early as 7pm, to be greeted by classy hues of black and red, as well as the Hennessy V.S.O.P signature long drinks – Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Berry, Hennessy Ginger and Hennessy Soda which were served throughout the night. Kuala Lumpur’s Alex Asquared of Deer Society fame set the tone for the night from an elevated DJ console,overseeing the lounge area of H-Artistry from about 15-feet above the party grounds.

Asquared’s set of nu disco and progressive trance kept party goers in the groove as everyone eagerly waited for the main party arena to open. In the meantime, guests kept busy by capturing their “Hennessy Moments” at the “Fotobox” booths, which printed out their photos and uploaded them on Facebook as mementos of H-Artistry instantly. I think it was the great tool/ways to capture the young party goers attention, many of them line out at the "Fotobox" throughout the party!

When come 9pm, the beautiful emcee, Julie Woon welcomed the crowd into the main party arena where the towering LED backdrop of the stunning H-Artistry stage counted down to the start of the show. The countdown culminated with an electrifying laser show and striking LED visuals, which kicked off the night’s performances. Enter 24HERBS, who surprised party goers by taking the stage from amongst the crowd. The Hong Kong hip hop outfit was bursting with energy, drawing the crowd in with their infectious stage presence as they demonstrated the credibility of Cantonese hip hop.

Their performance included hit tracks like “Do You Know Me”, “Fashionista” as well as “Wonderland”, which featured Astro Star Quest champion Alexis Cheanin the first H-Artistry collaboration of the night. 24HERBS, anchored by SIR JBS, LMF legends Phat and Kit, took an intermission to greet the H-Artistry crowd and threw out 24HERBS Snapbacks into a rousing audience. A cheeky performance of the hit “Hu Ge” brought their performance to an end, which marked the beginning of the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) journey for the rest of the H-Artistry evening. Just before they head back to the back stage, each of the 24HERBS members threw out their cap to the crowd. With the dimming of stage lights, Dennis Lau – clad in a laser-projecting jacket – took the stage with his electric violin, bringing the crowd to an all-new high as he started off with a violin introduction of Swedish House Mafia’s hit “Don’t You Worry Child”. Australian DJ and Producer Andy Murphy took the decks, bringing the prelude to its peak before Alexis Chean took the stage once again to belt out the vocals of the popular dance anthem.

Andy Murphy went on to administer an astounding set of EDM and Big Room tunes for the next hour, firmly setting the momentum of the night with pulsating beats and fist-pumping drops. Taking over from Andy was Singapore’s biggest female DJ export Nicole Chen, who brought her popular style of Electro House and Dirty Dutch onto the H-Artistry stage. Both DJs’ sets, bolstered in intervals by a gorgeous dance crew and breathtaking laser projections, shot the energy levels through the roof at H-Artistry as party goers danced through the night with glasses of Hennessy V.S.O.P in hand.

Party Hard, Party Smart

With H-Artistry being an advocate of responsible partying, emcee Julie Woon ended the night with a strong reminder on staying in control and partying smart, encouraging guests to rest up and recharge before leaving the venue.

The lounge area at H-Artistry doubled up as a chill out zone for party goers to recharge before leaving, while complimentary bottles of mineral water were available throughout the night. A dedicated taxi concierge was also setup for the convenience of party goers to book a ride home at a subsidized rate, courtesy of H-Artistry. H-Artistry, The Global Art of Mixing at SPICE Penang turned out to be a night that delivered a sensational mix of sight, sound and taste in one party.
